Welcome! I’m Van — a freelance designer and illustrator from California, now happily based in Taiwan since 2022.

I’ve collaborated with editorial, non-profit, and stationery clients, and I’m especially drawn to projects with social impact. My work often explores themes of home and identity, blending storytelling with bold, playful visuals.

When I’m not drawing, you’ll find me dancing, building Lego sets, or traveling (and vlogging said travels). A life-long vegetarian and devoted oat milk latte enthusiast, I love nothing more than sketching in a nearby cozy café.
